An experienced lawyer and business executive in Toronto, Ontario, Matthew “Matt” Cameron has served as senior vice president and general counsel of the Akumin medical imaging company since 2018. When he isn’t working, Toronto’s Matthew Cameron is an avid hiker.

True to its slogan “a city within a park,” Toronto has a number of great nature trails within city limits. Don River Valley Park, in the downtown region, features roughly seven miles of vegetation-lined trails. Many of these trails run adjacent to the Don River and connect various city neighborhoods together. Hikers at Don River Valley Park pass through peaceful natural terrain that range from narrow ravines to wide-open spaces.

One of the most popular trails in the park is the Lower Don River Trail, which is surrounded by woodlands and passes by multiple waterways. The Lower Don River Trail also directly connects to the trails of the downtown Toronto waterfront.
